Following their standout single 'DEEP', ( Featured on Radio 1, Match Of The Day and Spotify's New Music Friday) and last year's poignant single 'Call Me Crazy', Brighton duo Hanni Pidduck and Clara Townsend - aka ARXX - are blasting into 2021 with a brand new track.

Not Alone But Not With You is the latest offering from ARXX, a product of this period of reflection  during the pandemic. As always with ARXX, it’s unapologetic with its honesty.

Of the track Hanni explains "You know that sadness or guilt you feel when you’re surrounded by people you love but you are just missing that other person? Maybe it’s a loved one you’ve lost, maybe it’s a friend, maybe it’s a partner. This last year has been different for everyone but we’ve all had people we’ve missed.

This is a song to reflect to. This is a song for long drives with the windows down. This is a song to send to that person to tell them you miss them. This is a song for everyone to relate to.

Forever surprising us with their innovative songwriting and eclectic, yet consistently impressive and continually infectious sounds, ARXX continue to play with the expectation of what they ‘should’ be as women and as artists.

Produced by Steven Ansell of Blood Red Shoes and mastered by Katie Tavini (Pillow Queens, Arlo Parks), 'Not Alone But Not With You’ cements ARXX as a band on the rise - a unique power duo ready to take on 2021.

Having been making music together since 2017, ARXX have now received airplay from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Gemma Bradley, live session for John Kennedy on Radio X plus multiple plays, BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq and American station KEXP.  They have been featured in esteemed publications such as NME, DIVA Magazine, The Forty Five, Fred Perry Subculture and were named in the NME top 100 for 2020.

They’re a true force to be reckoned with live, and have played 80+ gigs and festivals across the UK and Europe, including support slots with the likes of Dream Wife, The Hold Steady, Petrol Girls, PINS, Ladybird and The Coathangers.  Most recently they played BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend as part of the BBC Introducing stage.  They are set to embark on a UK tour in August/ September.

You can get to know ARXX, or even ask them a question on their podcast " ARXX Us Antyhing"
